Pre-School on NGC Farm
The construction of a Pre-school, which can accommodate up to 100 Pre-school children on the NGC Farm. Although government has made investments into the education system and its infrastructure, there are still a lot we need to do in order to improve, such as in the area of early childhood development as we currently only cater for about 31% of children aged between 3 and 6 years of age. We have realised the responsibility we have towards the children of our employees who are working very hard on a daily basis to ensure the company meets its targets. We therefore constructed a small education resource centre to accommodate the children during the day and provide them with education through the governments accredited early childhood development programme. It is our view that education should start at a young age and children should get use to going to institutions for learning and develop themselves.
